Best Sesame Oil Chicken Rice recipe ever!

Ingredients

  • Rice 2 cups

  • Water 2 cups

  • Rice wine 1 cup

  • Sesame oil 2 tablespoons

  • Chicken leg 500g

  • Ginger 50g

  • Mushroom 100g

  • seasoning
  • Salt 1 teaspoon

Directions

  • Cut the ginger into thin slices, cut the chicken, cut the mushrooms.
  • Wash the rice, add water and rice wine for about half an hour. (IMPORTANT: soaking rice wine makes the rice aroma more intense)
  • Put the sliced ginger into the pot, pour the sesame oil, stir fry until the ginger turns brown, add the chicken, stir fry until the meat color turns white. (Small secret: cold oil put ginger, fully release ginger flavor)
  • Pour the soaked rice, water, rice wine, boil, add salt and mix well, add mushrooms.
  • Cover the lid and cook for about 12 minutes until cooked. Open the lid and stir the rice to allow the steam to release.

  • Rice: Water: Rice wine = 2:2:1 (perfect ratio of Sesame Oil Chicken Rice)
