Risotto(炖饭)

Today I want to share a simple and easy Risotto(炖饭), especially for people with zero cooking experience can easily challenge the simple version of Risotto, and the cooking process is simple, but the taste is still delicious.

The tool used is a rice cooker. Just follow my steps, put the ingredients in order and pay attention to the details, wait for the time, this delicious Risotto(炖饭) can be served.

Ingredients

1 serving
1 cup of rice
1 tomato
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper

Cooking Follow Me

Wash the rice: Wash the rice with water (about three times) and drain the water completely.

Add water: in the ratio of “rice: water, 1:1.35” (this is the weight ratio rather than the volume ratio, but if it is estimated by the volume of the measuring cup, it is about 1:1.25), take the appropriate amount of water to join washed rice. It can be slightly increased or decreased depending on the characteristics of different varieties of rice.

*Because the tomato will be added to the pot and the tomato has natural moisture, I would suggest that the water ratio should be a little less.

Soaking the rice in water for about 30 minutes.

Add the chopped tomato diced in the rice cooker, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper, and press start cooking.

When the rice cooker finishes cooking, don’t open the lid immediately, first suffocate for another 15 minutes, let the rice completely gelatinize (completely gelatinized to taste the sweetness)

Stirring: Open the lid and gently stir the rice with chopsticks. Because the rice cooker is unevenly heated, the hot place is easy to stick, and it must be evenly stirred with chopsticks, so that everyone who eats can enjoy the best state of rice.

This dish only needs to be placed in accordance with the instructions, waiting for the rice cooker to complete the cooking process, and then suffocating for 15 minutes, the DELICIOUS Risotto(炖饭) can be served immediately.
