Chinese Butter Garlic Prawns

Ingredients

  • prawns

  • 1tsp of salt

  • cornflour

  • butter

  • garlic

  • spring onions

Directions

  • Marinate prawns with 1tsp of salt + 5 slices of gingers. Put in the fridge for a minimum of half an hour.
  • Heat 1 cup of oil. Before deep-frying prawns, sprinkle cornflour on each prawn and deep fry immediately. Repeat for all prawns and put aside. Do not overcook prawns.
  • Heat a wok or pan and melt butter (thumb size wide) + add 2tbsp minced garlic. Fry till slight brown, add in prawns + 2tbsp chopped spring onions. Mix well. Sprinkle salt and serve. Enjoy😋😋

Notes

  • If u are going to remove the shells before cooking, you can retain the tails of the prawns, so that they will look better when served.
