After the popularity of Sweet and Sour Chicken (左宗棠鸡), Im going to share another Sweetfish that I loved so much.

Fresh fish fillet with sweet and sour sauce, this is definitely a classic Chinese cuisine, you can’t miss it if you like seafood.

Ingredients

Fish fillet 1-2 slices
Onion half cut
Red and yellow peppers
Appropriate amount of ginger, minced garlic
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp soy sauce

Sweet and sour sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp white vinegar
4 tbsp water
1 tsp potato starch

Preparation
Slice the fish fillet
Stir the whole egg liquid, salt, rice wine and a little potato starch, and put in the fish fillet.

Cover the marinated fish fillets with a layer of potato starch

Preheat the pan, the temperature is 160-170 degrees, the fish fillet is placed in the oil pan and deep-fried and taken out.

Put the onion, red and yellow peppers in the oil pan, stir fry and quickly pick up all the vegetables and put it aside.

Put the oil in the hot pot and fry the 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce and ginger and minced garlic.

Pour in the prepared sweet and sour sauce and add in 1 teaspoon of soy sauce.

Finally, add the fillets, so that the two sides are evenly dipped in the sauce, then add the red and yellow peppers and the onions and stir well.

Sweetfish is ready to serve

Tips

I use black fish fillets in this recipe. If you choose squid fillets, remember that the red meat on the squid slices is the source of astringency. Remember to remove the part from fish fillets.
