Semen Cassiae Tea
Today, I want to show you how to make a Chinese herbal tea, which is very easy to get from supermarkets or Amazon and very helpful to the body. Nowadays, most office workers face computers for hours every day, which not only causes the face to be dehydrated, but sometimes even blurs the eyes. At this time, a cup of cassia tea can soothe the feeling of discomfort in the eyes. Traditionally, this kind of tea is very beneficial for eye care. I like Semen Cassiae Tea very much, so I highly recommend it to you.
Cassia seed tea is a mature seed of herbs, and It tastes bitter. Modern pharmacological studies have shown that Cassia is rich in components such as chrysophanol, emodin and cassia seed.
Especially for the elderly to drink Cassia tea can not only help intestinal health care but also can play a role in vision care, lowering blood pressure and regulating lipids and other health functions.
Cooking Follow Me
Take 15g of single-flavored cassia seed in the cup, pour it into boiling water and drink it. It can refill repeatedly until the tea soup is colorless.
Or you can first slightly fry the cassia seeds before using them( 1 minute with low heat, no cooking oil). then take 15g in a cup and pour into boiling water, the color of the tea soup is yellow, the aroma of the decoction will be more intense, but the taste is bitter and tasteless.
The BEST way I recommend is to take 30g cassia seed, 1000cc water, cook in a small pot, cook with high heat until the water boiling, then turn off the fire, finally add some rock sugar( for personal preference), which is very fast and easy to make. Let’s enjoy this Chinese herbal tea “Semen Cassiae Tea (决明子茶)”!
